ON A FREE TOUR OF THE ALBAICÍN, THE PAST COMES TO LIFE

In the Albaicin neighborhood we will find narrow streets, squares and homes where Muslims, Christians and Jews have lived. Live and breathe in all of Granada’s history with this Free Tour.

Artists and writers have found inspiration in its streets, strolling through its gardens and courtyard homes, churches and palaces.

Our tour will take you into its maze of cobblestone streets, with a guide who’s passionate about showing you the unique character of this seductive and mysterious neighborhood.

What does a free tour consist of?

An expert guide will be located in one of the main spots of the city, depending on the tour you’ve chosen. They will be holding a red umbrella, the symbol of our company. Together with the tour guide and the other tourists who form your group, you’ll enjoy a visit by foot to the neighborhood’s most outstanding places.

The expert who will accompany you will explain the most relevant features of the monuments you’re visiting, recount the stories and legends that surround the touristic spaces and will respond to any reflections or questions you might have while on tour. They’ll also tell you which souvenirs are most traditional, and point you in the direction of the best restaurants and bars in town.

And the best part of it is that at the end of the visit, you can pay the guide what you felt the tour was worth.

That’s what makes it a very affordable option to get to know the city thoroughly.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT OUR FREE TOURS

A great walking tour. Very informative and entertaining. A strenuous walk but well paced with consideration of all involved and individual abilities. Helped us at the end as we were adding the Flamingo Show following (also booked with same company) which turned out to be a great combination. The show in the cave was excellent, authentic and very much enjoyed.

We took two free walking tours while in Granda – a city tour and the Sacromonte tour. We had the same tour guide both times – for the life of me I can’t remember her name – but she was an incredible English speaking guide with a deep knowledge of Granada history.

It was our first free walking tour in Granada and we can highly recomended it. The local guide Matias was a very friendly and open person who answered every question we had. Thanks to him we learned a lots of interesting facts about the history of Granada. You should book the tour, if you’re interesed in local places too. Give it a try!
